I'm b-b-b-b-back

Highlights from last night's family christmas dinner at my brother-in-law's house:

-My 7 year-old niece playing with her new Furby doll-- sitting 6 inches away from his creepy, furry face, yelling "HEY, FURBY!", and hitting him over the head when he didn't immediately respond. Poor, slow Furby.

-The wild laughter that came from my sister-in-law, Marcia, as she saw that one of the gifts I gave her was a Jesus Action Figure.

-The fact that only she and I were laughing

-and Marcia is Catholic

-Homemade macaroni and cheese

Good gravy, am I ever slow! I knew you were back on LJ, but I didn't realize you were writing entries and I missed stuff! Damn friends filters that I'm too dumb to figure out. Maybe I need your niece to shout, "HEY, HEATHER!" at me and hit me over the head for being so slow. I have a creepy, furry face, too, so she'll probably enjoy it. But now I am caught up, and I am commenting on a nearly two-week-old entry because the bit about the Furby made me cackle.

Welcome back, yo! :)

I should have included these before, but I was just too lazy.

I wish I had a good picture of my niece knocking the crap out of Furby. Oh, well. Instead, here's a picture of her holding the book that tells you how to speak...and I'm not making this up...FURBISH.
